Tactical & Outdoor Tip: Proper Inflation Pressure & Protecting Your SUP from the Sun
Optimize Pressure for Maximum Performance: To allow Drop Stitch Light technology to deliver 100% of its rigidity, the board must be inflated to the correct pressure. Technical Tip: The recommended operating pressure for the Aqua Marina Vapor is 15 PSI. If you inflate the board to a lower pressure (for example 10–12 PSI), you will notice the center sagging under your weight, increasing water resistance and making balance more difficult. Use the integrated pressure gauge on the Liquid Air V1 pump to accurately monitor pressure during inflation.
Protection from Heat and Direct Sunlight: Air expands as it heats up. Usage Tip: When taking your SUP out of the water for a break at the beach, do not leave it fully inflated under direct sunlight. Rising temperatures will increase the internal pressure, potentially placing unnecessary stress on the board's welded seams. Ideally, store the SUP in the shade. If this is not possible, release 2–3 PSI by letting out a small amount of air through the valve, and remember to restore the pressure with the pump before returning to the water.
