ALPIN RipStop Thinsulate Silver-Ion Compact Winter Sleeping Bag (SB017)

ALPIN compact winter sleeping bag featuring Thinsulate (Eco) insulation, an antimicrobial Silver-Ion coating, 210T Hexagonal Ripstop fabric and a compression sack

When winter camping, hiking, mountain expeditions and overnight stays outdoors in low temperatures demand maximum thermal insulation, minimal packing volume and enhanced hygiene — whether for outdoor enthusiasts and mountaineers or those looking for a technical, compact and antimicrobial winter sleeping bag — the ALPIN RipStop-Thinsulate-Silver-Ion Winter Sleeping Bag (Code: SB017) offers an ideal solution.

Equipped with advanced 3M Thinsulate (Eco) insulation made from recycled polyester fibres, the SB017 stands out for its excellent warmth-to-thickness ratio, providing effective thermal protection (comfort temperature range: women/men +5°C / 0°C) in an exceptionally compact design. The outer fabric, made from 210T Hexagonal Ripstop, distributes stress in multiple directions, offering resistance to tearing while keeping weight low. The innovative Silver-Ion coating (certified according to ISO 20743:2021) provides powerful, non-toxic antimicrobial protection by inhibiting the growth of bacteria, fungi and odour-causing microbes, while remaining active even after multiple washes.

Its design includes a cap hood with an integrated mesh mosquito/ventilation cap, a wind flap covering the zipper, an internal Velcro pocket, dual ventilation zippers at the foot end and Anti-bite SBS zippers designed to prevent fabric snagging. Thanks to the included compression sack, its packed volume can be reduced by 40%, reaching an exceptionally compact size of just 31 x 19 x 19 cm.
