Part of Trimm's technical Adventure series, the Thunder D is designed as a dome tent with a lightweight and highly durable frame made from Dural 7001 T6 aluminum poles (8.5 mm & 9.5 mm). The internal aluminum structure, combined with the external support of the third pole, ensures excellent stability even in very strong winds. The outer fabric made from 100% polyester provides 4,000 mm H2O waterproofing with heat-sealed seams, while the highly durable 100% nylon PU-coated groundsheet guarantees excellent 10,000 mm H2O waterproofing for complete protection against ground moisture.
For maximum comfort and versatility, it features two symmetrical entrances with left- or right-side opening and two 70 cm-long vestibules. This provides convenient space for storing equipment and backpacks or for cooking while protected from the wind. The advanced ventilation system, combined with the breathable inner fabric (Taffeta & mesh) with water-repellent (WR) treatment, ensures excellent air circulation and helps prevent condensation.
