The Osprey Hikelite LT 30 lightweight hiking backpack (Capacity: 30 Liters, Unisex Fit) is designed for full-day mountain trips and demanding outdoor activities. Weighing just 0.92 kg and measuring 55 x 30 x 27 cm, it offers the ideal balance between high capacity, stability and excellent breathability for loads from 2 to 9 kg.
The AirSpeed™ Suspension with a LightWire peripheral frame creates a tensioned mesh panel (mesh trampoline) that keeps the backpack away from the back. This air gap ensures maximum airflow and keeps the body cool even in the hottest conditions. In addition, the breathable yoke-style shoulder straps with load lifters, adjustable sternum strap with safety whistle, upper compression straps and hip belt with padded hipwings provide excellent weight distribution and load stabilization.
Unlike the smaller versions, access to the main compartment is from the top with a drawstring closure (top-loading with cinch closure) and a lid with a zippered pocket, ensuring maximum use of the 30-liter volume. Externally, it features tall stretch side pockets for water bottles or snacks, a vertical external zippered pocket with key clip, an internal hydration reservoir sleeve (with Hydraclip and hose routing port), a bicycle light attachment point (blinker light loop), as well as an integrated waterproof rain cover (raincover) made from 100% recycled polyester that is stored in a dedicated pocket at the base.
As a certified bluesign® PRODUCT, it is made from 100% recycled polyester (200D & 600D) with PFAS-free DWR water-repellent treatment, offering durability and a reduced environmental footprint.
