The Osprey Kestrel LT 65 mountaineering and hiking backpack (Capacity: 65 Liters) is a durable, upgraded version of the classic mountaineering backpack, specially designed for multi-day hikes, mountaineering expeditions and backpacking. It offers high capacity, stable load carrying (ideal for loads of 9 – 18 kg) and an ergonomic fit for long mountain routes.
Equipped with the anatomical AirScape™ Backpanel back system with foam, ventilation channels and breathable Spacermesh harness, it offers a comfortable, stable and ventilated fit. The structure is supported by a 4 mm LightWire frame and injection-molded framesheet, ensuring excellent weight distribution. The fully adjustable back length provides a personalized fit, while the ErgoPull hipbelt with two zippered pockets and the internal compression strap provide complete load stabilization.
Access to the main compartment is available from the top (top-loading with drawstring closure), as well as from the side thanks to the concealed side zipper with three sliders for direct access to any part of your gear. It features an adjustable and removable floating top lid with large pockets and key clip, a front stretch shove-it pocket, side pockets for water bottles, a hydration reservoir sleeve with Hydraclip, as well as dual straps/loops for securing trekking poles, an ice axe or sleeping pad.
As a certified bluesign® PRODUCT, it is made from 100% recycled Nylon 210D and 600D polyester with PFAS-free DWR treatment. For complete protection from the weather conditions, the backpack includes an integrated waterproof rain cover (raincover) that is stored in a dedicated pocket at the base.
