Description
Telescopic Hiking Trekking Pole - Compass 3-Section
Compass Mountaineering & Trekking Pole 3-Section made from 6061 Aluminum with Anti-Shock System & Adjustable Length up to 135cm
The telescopic hiking pole Compass 3-Section is an essential and reliable companion for every outdoor adventure, from a simple Sunday nature walk to demanding mountaineering routes and trekking across rough terrain. The use of trekking poles significantly contributes to synchronizing arm and leg movement, maintaining a steady walking rhythm, improving balance on slippery ground, and most importantly, ensuring proper body posture to reduce muscular fatigue.
The poles are constructed from durable 6061 aluminum alloy, a material widely selected in aerospace engineering and outdoor equipment for its exceptional balance between lightweight performance and high torsional rigidity. The major technical advantage of the Compass model is its integrated Anti-shock suspension system. This shock-absorbing mechanism reduces the continuous vibrations generated when the pole strikes rocks, roots, or hard terrain, dramatically decreasing strain on the wrists, elbows, shoulders, and especially the knees and ankles during steep descents.
The 3-section design offers excellent versatility, allowing quick telescopic length adjustment from 83 to 135 cm, so it can be precisely adapted both to the user's height and the terrain slope (shorter for uphill, longer for downhill). When fully collapsed, it can be easily attached externally to your backpack. It features an ergonomic anatomical grip designed for secure, non-slip handling, complemented by a reinforced adjustable wrist strap that distributes pressure correctly.

Tactical Corner Tip for Compass 3-Section Trekking Poles
Many hikers do not know how to correctly adjust the height of 3-section trekking poles. The ideal rule for flat terrain is the following: when holding the pole upright, your elbow should form an angle of exactly 90 degrees. Since the pole has 3 sections, to maintain maximum stability and avoid structural bending, do not fully extend one section while leaving the other closed. Distribute the extension equally between both lower sections (for example, if you need a 120cm height, adjust both movable sections to the 120 mark). Anti-Shock Tip:During steep ascents, you may deactivate the anti-shock system (by tightening the section firmly past the locking point) so you do not lose energy during upward pushing, while on descents you should definitely activate it to absorb impacts on your knees.
