The GEAR AID Seam Grip 7gr Repair Kit (21252) is the essential quick-repair kit for every camping and outdoor enthusiast. Based on the renowned Seam Grip® urethane adhesive, it provides a clean, flexible, and 100% waterproof finish, ensuring permanent repairs for tears, holes, and seams on almost any type of equipment.

It is suitable for use on tents, tarps, sleeping mats, inflatable mattresses, backpacks, rainwear, shoes, gloves, duffel bags, and waterproof seals (wetsuits/kites). Its specialized formula effectively waterproofs seams and seals damage, withstanding heavy use and harsh weather conditions.

The kit includes Seam Grip® adhesive (7gr) as well as repair patches, allowing immediate field repair of damage so that the equipment can be used right away.

Usage & Application Instructions

1. Preparation: Clean and completely dry the surface. Lightly roughen the area for better adhesion.
2. For Holes & Tears: Apply masking tape/duct tape to the back side. Fill the gap with Seam Grip®, covering 6mm around the perimeter. Keep the area horizontal. Remove the tape after curing (8–12 hours).
3. Patch Application: Apply Seam Grip®, place the patch over the damaged area, and wipe away excess adhesive from the edges. The equipment can be used immediately.
4. Seam Sealing: Apply a thin layer of Seam Grip® to the inside of the seam using a brush or directly from the tube.
5. Drying Time: Allow 8 to 12 hours for the adhesive to fully cure. Check before use.
