The leather Pentagon Predator Mountaineering 8" Boots (K15068) are specially designed for demanding mountain terrain, long-distance traverses under load and adverse weather conditions. Performing exceptionally well both as durable hiking boots and lightweight tactical boots, they offer outstanding stability, durability and protection without unnecessary weight or stiffness, making them ideal for mountaineering, law enforcement or everyday work in rugged environments.
The upper is made of waterproof 1.6–1.8 mm Nubuck Full-Grain leather (anti-wicking) combined with durable nylon fabric and protective rubber reinforcement in high-stress areas. The Hydroguard® waterproof membrane provides over 12 hours of static waterproofing in heavy rain (20,000–28,000 water penetration cycles), while the air mesh lining allows the foot to breathe during extended hikes.
These mountaineering boots feature a removable anatomical insole with shock absorption (5mm forefoot / 7mm heel) to reduce fatigue during ascents and descents. At the same time, as certified safety boots, they feature a slip-resistant rubber outsole with EN ISO 20345:2022 LG SRC certification for excellent traction on rock, soil, wet surfaces and ladders (Ladder Grip).
