Men's Thermal Base Layer - Devold Adventure Merino 190
Devold Adventure Merino 190 men's long-sleeve thermal base layer. Made from 100% Merino wool, 190g/m², with flatlock seams & excellent breathability.
When mountaineering excursions, mountain hiking, hunting, fishing and outdoor activities demand ideal temperature regulation, a soft feel and protection from the cold —whether for adventure enthusiasts and hikers or those looking for a premium-quality natural thermal base layer (baselayer) for every season— the Devold Adventure Merino 190 men's long-sleeve thermal base layer offers the ultimate solution.
Specifically designed to adapt to changing weather conditions and levels of physical activity, it is made from 100% natural Merino wool with a special rib-knit construction (190 g/m² fabric weight and 18.7 micron fiber thickness). The fabric provides natural stretch, comfortably follows the contours of the body without becoming baggy and allows the skin to breathe while you are active, while also providing excellent thermal insulation when you stop. In addition, Merino wool has natural antibacterial properties that help prevent the development of unpleasant odors even after several days of use.
For maximum comfort while carrying equipment, it features specially designed shoulder seams that help prevent irritation from backpack straps, as well as flatlock seams that minimize friction against the skin during long hikes.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Does Devold Merino wool cause itching?
No! Devold uses exceptionally fine 18.7 micron Merino wool fibers, which feel extremely soft and silky against the skin without causing irritation or itching.
How do I choose the right size?
The shirt features a Regular Fit. If your chest measurement indicates a different size from your height, follow the chest measurement for the best fit.
Can I wear it on multi-day hikes without washing it?
Yes! 100% Merino wool has natural antibacterial properties that help prevent odor development, allowing you to wear it for several consecutive days by simply airing it out.
Is it suitable for use with a backpack?
Absolutely. The shoulder seams are specially designed so they do not align with backpack straps, helping prevent chafing and discomfort.
Outdoor & Merino Tip
To keep your Devold Adventure Merino 190 thermal base layer looking and performing like new for years, avoid using conventional fabric softeners and enzyme-based detergents, as they can damage the natural wool fibers. In most cases, after a day in the mountains, simply airing the garment in a shaded area is enough to refresh the fabric thanks to Merino's natural properties!
