Washing & Cleaning Tip: To preserve the structural integrity of the ballistic nylon weave and ensure proper operation of the retention systems, never machine wash the sheath and avoid using strong bleaching agents. If the sheath becomes covered in mud or dust during field use, allow it to dry completely and clean it locally using a stiff-bristle brush. For stubborn stains, use a sponge with lukewarm water and a small amount of mild soap, then rinse thoroughly with clean water.
Velcro & Snap Strap Maintenance: Velcro often collects lint, mud, and dried vegetation, reducing its holding power over time. Clean it periodically by gently brushing it with a small wire brush or an old toothbrush. Additionally, if the metal snap button is exposed to saltwater or heavy perspiration, dry it thoroughly and apply a tiny drop of maintenance oil (such as gun oil) to help prevent oxidation and maintain smooth fastening and unfastening.
